While this is not a picture of our own church bell, there is wonderful news that OUR church bell will be returned to our steeple this week. We were told that we will have a bell for worship on Sunday morning! This was an expensive project and Church Council President Topel announced last week that the bell project has been totally funded ~ it is all paid for. We give thanks to all who helped to make this possible.
HUGE thank you to all those who volunteered in the St. John's food booth at the J.C. Firemen's Festival! We couldn't do it without you. A bigger thank you to the guys who worked the fryers all day long......:)

The Sunday of Epiphany...Chalking The Door. Early tradition of the church gave the names of the ones who followed the star, the Wise Men from the East, as Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar. We remember them and their journey this day, as they traveled in search of the Messiah, the Son of God born as a tiny baby in Bethlehm, two thousand, and nineteen years ago ~ Emanual, God with us. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless our home and remain with us throughtout this new year. (Apologies for losing the very beginning and the ending)
